4Q stuff

So 4Q is taking over my life..Hahahha in a good way. God has been blessing us with growth. So as it grows I must grow. So blogging was almost at a stand still has we started the spring Football 2011, I can not wait for the fall it's going to be awesome!! We have new additions and we have been reworking some things. Yea! So I will try and keep you updated.

Yes! I have on a baseball cap in the Library. I was at our daily Saturday meeting in FSU Library.

So What a productive Tuesday! I accomplished everything on my list. This is a rare feat for me. I visited my dear friend and teacher and that made me feel 10 times happier and motivated after talking with her. She sent me like loads of Fiber art information. Oooooooo I am so excited and Fiber Crunk now.

So the Sail Fibers Class had this Donated to them. Awesome! Also they grow cotton in the back of the school! They are make some nice yarn.

Later on that night I went to a Godby High Game. My old high school plays my other old middle school( it's a K-12 School so Godby is playing FAMU High not middle)

State championships

Whew! I have been gone for like two weeks, but I am back to make the last post for 2010. I think I have about 5. So here we go. 4Q traveled to Orlando for the state championship game. One of our local teams made it to the State Championship game and of course we were going to be there with the laptop, camera and Flip Camera. This was the 18th of this month .Can I tell you it rained and rained and rained. I thought I was not going to be able to shoot, but when it was game time the rain went away. Yea!!!!!!!!Through out all the rain they pulled out a victory over a team that was undefeated and ranked 6th in the nation. Don't you just love an underdog story. I was so honored and ecstatic to have witnessed it. Ahhhhhh 4Q is taking me places.

I was really hating my hair this week, It was looking like ughhhhh. So under that wrap is some large two strand twist, which is known to some how I don't like how a chunky twist out looks on my head. hey I still rocked it though.

I am enjoying press box food. HAhaahha this clearly after the game because I usually on see the press box a few time during a game because I am on the field most of the time. Oh and that's Will from the local news paper in Tallahassee. (whispering) He hurt himself playing soccer this was the first day with out the cast.

This is well after the game. Djawa is watching basketball on his phone and he was paying me no attention.

We are about to leave. We had a pretty good time.

Look how tired I am. I slept the whole way back.

Finally Finally leaving the Citrus Bowl. We had been there since 11am and we didn't leave until 7pm and we didn't get back home until 11pm. A long fun day

Update: Coach Natalie Randoph Head Boys Football Coach

So let me update ya on a post I made like in March( Coach Natalie Randoph). It was about a Female High football coach at Coolidge High. I just wanted to see how the season went for her. Of course it was a big deal for her first game of the season, and they lost, OUCH! Well she is 30 years old around the ages of other male coaches when they start out so hey you can't expect a miracle for the first game, but read the article here. She's young and it's her first head coaching position. I give her another year and no on is going to think about the fact that she is a women coaching High school Football. Here is a link to there schedule and their record was 4-7 sooo ummm. It's alright Coach Randoph, you won some conference games and it's your first year. It will get better. I am ready to see what goes on with her team next season.

FOOTBALL WASTED!

I am so excited on Saturday I got Football wasted oh yeah!!!! I first I went to the FAMU vs. Hampton game at 3pm then went to the FSU vs. Clemson game and had the opportunity to be a photography at Doak Campbell stadium. I have never been to a FSU game let alone being on the field. My Brother and my Dad were watching from the stands and I was shooting on the field. ( Thanks Daddy!) This was such an exciting experience. Oh and I didn't have to worry about my settings (for those photo geeks like myself lol) The lights were the best ever. I was in lighting heaven. Ahhhhhh

My lens was 70-200mm but I was so freakin close. Yea!

Friday Night :4Q Gamenight!

Friday Night Lights at Gene Cox stadium. One of the biggest games of the season. Two Rivals Leon Lions vs. Lincoln Trojans. Leon has not beaten Lincoln in 12 years. This game was smoking hot! The stands were packed and I was there in my 4quartersonline.com Gear. Lol or at least the outfit uniform I am trying to put together. I was kinda tired of being kinda blah on the side lines. So I just spiced it up a bit. Girls like football too and we like to look Fly so why not combined them. I am still working on it I will get it down by next year. Oh yeah Lincoln Won, but Leon was leading until a 1:15 in the 4th. Ummmm better luck next year lions. By the way I am Cougar and we whoop up on Columbia High School. GO COUGARS!!!!

In case you are wondering Of course I did not wear the hills while I was shooting. (smile ) just for the pics then I change in to my work boots. It can get muddy out there on the field.

Let's see I had on my 4Q earrings. I had on hand painted silver with black tips with on finger totally painted black with a lime green butterfly. On the other hand the opposite Black paint with silver tips with on finger painted all black. I had on a pink under shirt for breast cancer awareness month and the long sleeve shirt cause man the temperature is dropping at night now. Ummm or and a silver pink blend eye shadow.

This is after the game at Hungry Howies. This is when the staff gets together and eat and talk about all the games we went too. Basically just chilllin out. That's Djawa Our videographer is awesome.

FAMU vs. Savannah State

So yes we won Finally, but Savannah State is like 0-6 well now 0-7. I heard they have lost in close games too, so it's not like they are a sorry team or anything, but I think they are New to the MEAC and the teams we need to beat we lost badly too soooo I m not sure how I feel about this win. Also BCC, my bad BCU( Bethune Cookman University) is whoop up on teams this year. The Orlando classic should be interesting. I still had a good time. Oh yeah I finally finished my hair after like 3 days of working on it.

I love my school and support HBCUs ( we need to stick together) Oh yeah shout out to local talent on Savannah State. There Quarterback is from the area and he played well.

I have to get some more FAMU shirts for Homecoming. For some reason this is the only one I have and I got it last year Homecoming. I need to do better. sigh

GAMENIGHT OUTFIT

Friday fun continues. So if you don't know I am regular person by day and sports photographer extrondiar by night. I shoot high school football every Thursday and Friday with my dad's company 4Quartersonline.com. So I have been coming up with a 4Q outfit. I have my nails painted in the colors black and silver and I have these sparkling 4Q earrings that i made along with my 4Q shirt. I even have silver and grey make up. YES if you are going to do it, do it big.

Yes, It's a working progress. I am rocking the Blow out but my hair is so light if the wind touches or LIFE it moves out of place. Sigh. I just deal with it though

Yep Marc is steady working on Game night. He is really doing the job of like 5 people.

The end of the night in Madison County.I look crazy, I am going to get this make up right one of these days( it could be the flash), but anyway it was a fun night as always. Now for the 45min drive back to Tallahassee.

End of the night Whew!

I think I am loving those earrings I might make some more. We will see. This processes starts again on Thursday. I love it!

FIRST FAMU HOME GAME 2010

" I'm so glad I'm from FAMU. I'm so glad I from FAMU. I'm so glad I from FAMU. Singing Glory Hallelujah I'm from FAMU" So yes I am a FAMU Alumni and I work there and the Rattlers had there first home game of the season against South Carolina State. This was the team that beat us last year and causes us not to be in the MEAC championships ( I hope that info is correct, if not leave a comment and correct me) So we were ready. Nope! We lost and it was sad. They beat us by 3 field goals and touchdown. All I have to say is great job Defense and we need to do better Offense. ( For Real)

Even though we lost the band did show out even though S.C. State band was totally biting. I love all HBCU's but I did feel a certain kinda way about them calling themselves the marching 101. sigh

Why were there so many of these I got hit with a bunch these. Aren't they are suppose to die in the fall. yuck!

They did a tribute to the late Dr. William P Foster. He is responsible for changing how the HBCU Bands did their have time show and how band were viewed. All HBCU's were influenced by him when you look at what they all do now it's because of him. Just about everyone HBCU Band has a member of the Marching 100 somewhere around there.

Hey I just though this was cool.

Gentlemen and Tenise

ladies!!!! Class of 2000

This Weekend was crazy. Now at work we started this 4-day work week and it begin on last Friday, sooooo I was off last Friday. Whoooo! Well, I know it sounds great, Right 4 days of work and off on Friday, ummmmm well if I am not mistaken now we work 10 hour days and take 30 min lunches and we have to come in earlier then usual... Well enough of that...on to the weekend. Ok Saturday was a looooooong day. I was at a 7-on-7 Tournament from about 8am-6pm, not to mention I was up at 5am prepping and making sure the staff knew where to meet. That was fun, and Marc had the 4Q tent tricked out with Internet, cooler with gator aid and water, and air conditioning. A+ for Marc for preparations. Well after that I got so discolored, It' s looking pretty bad right now I might need to wear a halter and sit in the sun for like an hour to get even again. Anyway after that I had to rush home to get ready for the class of 2000 Rickards Class Reunion. Man 10 years go by fast. ( Oh by the way I graduated in 2001, hehehhe I was the photographer) I saw some people I really haven't seen in 10 years. I had a blast. I was there until like 11:30pm and then I had to wake myself up and go to church in the morning. I started not to go, but GOD wasn't having that, I didn't go to sleep until around 1:30am or so and service starts at 8:00am. So I woke up at 7 all refreshed and what not I was like ok ok . But like always it was great!
