TRULY OUTRAGOUS!!!!!!!

Now I am not sure who all reads this blog, buutt if you are around my age you were born in the 80's and as a kid you have your all time favorite cartoons. Well I love a lot of them but the one I love the most is JEM. Can I say you can not covence me not to. I love the story line. Jerrica takes over the family business after her father died and then runs an orphanage. Her dad is like super smart to invent the holagram machine that transform Jerrica in to JEM. Ahhhhhhh it was only 3 season but I watched it ever sunday before we left for sunday school. Music, fashion, Women in charge, what more can you ask for. AND YES THESE ARE FROM YOU TUBE

THE FRESHMEN ARE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

The Kids are here the Kids are here. ( Oh and there parents) I am pretty sure this is going on everywhere. The incoming FRESHMAN ORIENTATIONS. They are all over the school. I remember mine and I can see how nervous the parents and students are, It's an exciting time, because this time next year they will be concern with getting the right class appose how do I register. Ahhhhhhhh memories. I try to help the best way I can I know how scary it can be, especially when the parents leave. Also I know the parents are nervous when they leave too. Don't worry kids and parents this will be a time to remember. WELCOME TO COLLEGE!!!!!!!!!!! It's an experience.

Homemade Oreos...Part 2

Ok on Sunday I decided to try these suckers again. I lessen the amount of salt and made sure I paid close attention to the baking soda amount too! They came out great! yum yum just like oreos. Recipe found here on Joy the Baker's Blog

FATHER'S DAY

My Granddad is a Laker Fan

So Sunday was father's day. I was going to make my dad some breakfast , but my mom had already taken him to breakfast before I got back from early morning service. Sooooooooo I took him out for dinner. He said he want steak and we went to Outback Steak House. He loved it. He and my mom said they had a bad experience at an Outback they went to out of town, but I think Tallahassee Outback Won them over. After that we went to see my granddaddy. He and my grandma had been sick for the past week so it was good to see them feeling and looking better. He loved his father's day gift. Sunday was pretty awesome!

This is one of the artist I met she makes the most fantastic Jewelry. Her name is Quincue Hamby

This is Stephanie She is right next door. She is an interior Designer and we talked a long time. Her store is call ART of the FIND vintage interior shop.
Her store was beautiful.
I guess this was kinda one of my date nights. I took myself to the movies

So after I finish being out at the downtown farmer's market( I stayed about 30 min it wasn't that big) I went home to pick up my dad and take him to a 7-on-7 tournament. Yeah I was not doing any 4Q stuff on Saturday. Last week almost took me out. After that I went boutique window shopping and stumbled on two awesome places. I talked with both owners. The Coolest people ever. I even found out they are having a Fashion show here in july and I think I want to help out. Soon the rain started and I was glad to be home, buut the lights went out and were out for a loooooooong time. I tried to go to sleep, but it wasn't happening . It got to be about 9:30 and I just couldn't take it anymore. I went to the movies and saw the Karate Kid and I like it, Jaden Smith got on my nerves a little bit but all in all I think he did a good job. Jackie Chan was the bomb!!

Saturday Part 1

Ummmmm Lamb Sausage. Wasn't too sure if I like it or not. I'll just say it was different.
I got some soaps from here they are awesome.
Live Music
Ok this was the best stuff I had ever tasted. Italian Ice. Oooooooo I have got to get some more next Saturday
yes it was yummy

Saturday was jammed pack. First I woke up early. After a while I got on Facebook( I think I have a facebook problem. Why am I checking it every morning. *sigh*) My cousin said on his page for everyone to come out to the Farmers Market at 9:00am. Sooooo that's what I did it was great I got a lot of fresh fruit and jams. It was great!

Homemade Oreos ...Part 1

Yeah I have a lot of blogging to catch you up on. First I got this recipe from Joy the Baker Blog and decided to to bake them this weekend. It was homemade oreos on Friday. Yum Right! But I ended up making them Twice because I made the first batch and they were awful. But the second batch came out AWESOME.

I kinda had all the ingredients at home already so I didn't have to go out and buy anything, well white chocolate
The mistakes were made here. I followed the recipe except when I put a teaspoon of baking soda instead of a 1/2 teaspoon. Yess this did mess up the batter and the cookies were awful. I think the recipe called for too much salt also.
For the most part this was an easy recipe to follow. No weird ingredients and it seem like it would only take like an hour or an hour and half to finish
This dough was like ugh to work with, it was like a fudge consistency, it was not fun it was too soft

This was tough the parchment move all over the place
Ok I am not going to go on and on about this, but I hate these things. They are biscuit cutters from walmart. They were plastic and three were in the pack when I say each cutter had a rubber band around it... it's ridiculous to try and get them free they were plastic and the rubber bands are rubber and not a good combination, we could barely get it open. Sigh I digress.
Don't be fooled they were impossible to get out of the mold.
They look Pretty
This isn't pretty. So apparently I didn't make the filling right too it was so goopy and soupy.
None the less I ate them and they were nasty, they were salty and weird tasting, Messy night yes and I was not going out like that.... to be continued

Yes I hear you Lord!

I do believe God is tell me something. So check this out. I woke up this morning and usually I have it on WGN because I like to hear some preaching in the morning when i get dressed. So ok here is the schedule
6:00am something ( Sorry I don't remember)
6:30 am Joyce Myers, I love listening to her, she is honest and speaks from her own life and shows how God changed it, using scriptures and everyday applications of the word. Applying the word to your daily life..
7:00am Creflo, I used to feel weird about him but now he speaks wisdom to my ears. ( Thanks Jesus for maturing)
7:30 Kenneth Copeland / Joyce Myers, I toggle between both because they are on different channels and usually it's about time for me to leave the house by then.

So on Joyce Myers program today she spoke about obedience and I think Creflo did too. I know I heard two messages on it before I left the house today. Then christnotes's daily scripture to me today was Obedience.

I just realized that my obedience will effect people and if God is telling me something I better do it because it's not about me. Other people are depending on me to make it, make it through so they can do the same. I want to leave or insert success and encouragement in their lives, I don't want to destroy there life or insert pain, and hurt on the account of me not being obedient.

As I think about it, It's heavy. IT's not about me.
