I was just wanting to show some of my products and company names the I did when I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design. We had copyright and trademark some of the things we came up with. He are some of my Image sheet.

Behold! Local Talent

In my quest to find local talent of all sorts. I came across some local cake decorators and wedding planners were to the same caliber of what I see on TV and in Magazines so it's kinda exciting. Well I will post about that another time. Now we are going to one of my favorite finds local Photographers. I have three today. I found them on cake blogs and wedding planning blogs so here we go.

First there is Lewis Johnson. He has a really good website( at least in my opinion) He photographed my really good friends wedding and since then I have checked out his work and it looks like he just keeps getting better and better. He has sound compositions and does a very good job of capturing the emotions of the moment. Definitely learn more about him by clicking here.

Next we have Jonathan Allian. He has a very commercial look to his photographs( yeah he does commercial shots also )Each photography looks as if it belongs in a magazine. The best thing about it is that these are not models but actual happy people that he has composed in the very relax, but very sophisticated photograph. His images are just great for eye candy. Lastly we have Kris Kimel of Kimel Photography. She has a really soft and angelic way of photographing her subjects. She uses a lot of natural light. Each photography has elements of simplicity and calmness even when them moment is super exciting. I really appreciate her simplicity. Learn more about click here.

The Next Food Network Star

Yes! I am a food network fanatic. I have been watching the food next work since they were on PBS. I love it! I have a greater appreciation for food and know heck of lot about different ingredients that I put in my food. Really great stuff. So of course I watch the show the next food network star and I didn't see the finale, but so bummed out cause Jeffery Saad didn't win. I really like his personality and would have love to follow him in the food network. Any Who, Congrats! Melissa and I will be looking for you. For you Food Network Crazies like I am their was a Red Lobster Challenge on episode 8. Click link to watch. They were to make a dish using the Wood grill to cook it and the winner was to have there dish on the Red Lobster menu. So of course Jeffery won. So now skipping along. I went Red Lobster and ask the waitress where it was on the menu. To my surprise she was a Foodie too. She had actually tasted the dish. So I ordered it. It was so good. A little too spicy for me but very good.It's called Wood Grilled Tilapia in a spicy Soy Broth, Click the link for the recipe. It had scallops shrimp and the tilapia, with pickled ginger on top. Now you don' t have to eat it all if you don't want but I suggest you try everything. Sorry Jeffery I was rooting for you, but your recipe was delicious UMMMMMMM UMMMMM!

Same M5425 but different

I did make it again Mccall 5425, click here to see the first one. I really like it what can I say. I thought that this Amy Butler fabric would compliment this pattern well and I think it did. I wore this to church and that is my cousin's care behind me.

Different but the same Simplicity 3745

I really enjoyed this pattern so of course I had to make it twice. Uhhhhh not really this is Simplicity 3745and this was the first time I made it and let me tell you it fit so bad the zipper is funky and the bust is really flat and it just gave me so much trouble so I decided to make it again. I was listen to other people and just put it away. But true to my self I was like I made it so I am going to wear and I did! I love it! The black fabric was actually a bed sheet and the patterned fabric was from jo anns It didn't look as bad as I thought. The mistakes are there but they are just not as magnified.

Serger frustration!!!!

Ok, so I have used a serger before, but I have never threaded one. Ugghhhhhhhhh so frustrating!
I have done the threading like a million times and it is still too loose. I kinda don't know what to do. My friend that lent it to me was like oh no I don't have the manual but it's really easy to thread and use.( yeah right! I really need the manual cause I know I am not threading it right. I have tried to find the manual on line but can not find a free one and the people in town act like they can't show you how to use it unless you brought one from them. Now I called my home girl and she suggested that the I have the silver things in the back way up. I did that and then I realized I threading around the knobs instead of through them. ( that help a little) But the bottom thread still is loose and I have tried everything I know and asked all those who I know. I am just really pist about the manual and frustrated that it's I can not thread it. It doesn't matter the show must go on. There are other ways to clean up rough edges.

Yuda What?

So I was like really upset to find out I was like late on the Gocco information. They have really discontinued it. I was so sad. Well I never give up any way I found something else it is called Yuda screen printing machine. It's like an all in one. You can coat and dry screens in it. It is an exposure unit and a press all in one. In the stores it's like $300.00( Well at micheals), but Dharma Trading has it on sell for like $200.00. I was think about getting it. I saw it in Micheals crafts store it's huge, I thought it was small when I saw it on the internet. I am going to check for the details and then we will try it out.
