What a fabulous weekend I had. I think I will do it in parts. First Friday was upon us. It looked like I was going on this journey alone until Marc scooped up his nieces and nephew and brought them out to First Friday. We always go so it was fun as usual. Let's see we went out there and saw some great works by some of the students at FSU(Florida State University) Ok because I didn't have a pen I am going off of memory. There were some great sketches by a Peter Keoning and some wonderful abstract art by a joyden, ummmmmm and some really cool paintings. The paintings looked like color just place together to make a scene, When you stood back you could see what the scene was a lot clear. The youngest niece won a print the oldest niece got a dress and some cool shoes at the vintage shop and I got a clip and some earrings. I say all in all it was pretty good time.

Alright I just heard of this artist yesterday and I am in love. She is awesome. I love her hair. She has a great voice and she can move and dance like no body's business. April Fools Janine!!!!!!

Ok This Guy, Marc. My Buddy for like 13 or 14 years decided he was going to play an April fools joke on yours truly. Now I think he gets me like every year too. Then he laughs his head off cause he know I am going to get super mad and I did like always. Then he waits for me to calm down and laughs and say just admit it "I got you" This is how it went down:

We work together right.... It was the end of Day yesterday, I say it was about 4:50 or so maybe 5:00 and he was helping a student with her website. Earlier he had asked for my hard drive ( really don't know what he needed for, but I let him hold it we do things like that) So I walk in his office( It's like 3 other people that work in the same office area) to talk to someone else that work in there and I asked him if he was finished with my hard drive and he was like sure. Then the joke begins:
Marc :"Janine hold up let me put your stuff back on your hard drive"
Janine : Huh
Marc: Yeah I have a folder on my computer with all your stuff in it.
Janine: Why
Marc: Well I had to take it off so I can use it. Where else do you have this save.
Janine: No where. You know that.
Marc: Are you serious. Why didn't you put it on the computer at the house.
Janine: You know why it would use up too much room on the computer. Why would you take stuff off of my hard drive and not tell me
Marc: sigh Now I have to go searching for the folder some where in my computer because it's not where I put it.

I am taking a break here, because I am starting to get mad. Now I know what you are thinking why didn't I just check the drive right, well he still was holding why I was talking so I wasn't think about it until I got it back and by then I was really pissed off. Oh yeah the student was still sitting there confused. So back to the story

Janine: What! Why didn't you tell me I would have just save the stuff on my computer instead. Why didn't you just say something. ( I am getting really mad now)

Marc: Ahhhhh I can't talk to you right now I don't need this Janine I am not talking about this with you right now.

Janine : What ! you can't talk to me. OH ok I am about to go

I went back to desk and started shutting down all my stuff. All the while he is like calling my name. I am not answering him I am hot too. I am so hot!!!! I didn't check my hard drive, but I was not mad about that I was mad that he told me he could not talk to me right now in front of like the 4 or 5 people. I was like who do you think you are you are going to delete my stuff and then embarrass me in front of a bunch of guys.

So I hear him calling my name. I am like what ever. I also here him tell the makings of a good April fools joke.

Marc: You have to get the person to a height of anxiety so that they think what you are saying is real. Then that makes a good April fools gag.


Ok Ok ok after I calmed down I told him it was a good joke.

Good Friends and Some Good Church

Family Worship and Praise Center had there family and friends weekend last weekend . It was awesome. I attended the festivities with my homies we just loooove church and art. Fashion, Talent and Jesus. Can't get any better then that. Life is Good!!!!

Working with what I have.

I tried the Miss Jessie's product on my hair. Ummmm the results weren't what I expected. The back was super curly and the front sorta curled up. It let me know the curly pattern in the front of my head isn't as curly as the back. It looks like I am going have to stick to twist for my tight curls. I did like the product and it smelled really nice. So I will try it again maybe I did something wrong, But I did rock it for like three days straight. I had to keep applying it though, because they started to straighten themselves out by the end of the day. Well Thanks miss jessie you are awesome!

Miss Jessie and Butter N Bars

Today I slept on it and I am really feelin' it

My twist out from yesterday I loosen more of the curls and it got fuller. Yea!

Miss Jessie and My butter and bar order arrived yesterday. I am so excited! I would have started using it right away but I am still enjoying my twist out. But I can't wait to mix up my skin moisturizer and play with some curls and styles.Ooooo I am just so excited right now. Miss Jessie products is suppose to be in some Target Stores this week. I think I will go and check that out this weekend.

Shirt Enhancement!!!!!!

I wore this out on Saturday. I though it was really cute and so did my mom.

So I bought these $1.00 iron on rinstones at Michaels craft store. They are really cute and I think it would just be fun to freshen up some older clothes. So I buy like a few of them and I give them to young girls and keep some for myself. Now I was a little confused on how these things worked. I thought they can't be that difficult they are only a dollar. Well anyway I used on the first time on Saturday and It looks great. Now I am going to find old shirts and hook them up.
