Father's Day and Henna

This was mixed up on Saturday!

Ok so I thought I would try the Henna. I use to dye clothes with it so why not try it on my hair.

I but some coca powder to get close to a brown color. Well you can't really tell that i used the henna except for the fact that my two grey strands are kinda copper colored. It wasn't as messy as I thought as far as washing it out. Well I will try it again and see what happens. Maybe I will use a fresh batch next time.

So my mom and I took my Dad out for Father's day. He really wanted to go to Outback Steak House. hahahhahah so me and my mom took him to Outback.

Graduation Time!!

I thought this was cool. Head Coach Cory Fuller was the speaker at the graduation, he use to play in the NFL, but mainly we cover his team in with 4quartersonline.com

I went to my nephew's graduation Last Thursday. It was quite emotional. One boy yelled out with his diploma in hand "LOOK MOM I DID IT" It was a small ceremony but I am glad I had the opportunity to attend.

Graduation Week!

So last week was crazy! I had Three cousins graduate and my niece oh and 2 girls from church that I watch grow up, and it was all from three different schools. Then on that Saturday I had to go to two graduation parties. I was so tired and so very proud. So all I have to say Congratulations and Welcome to the Adult world.

We were watching a slide show, I am just glad I didn't appear in it. whew!

Jacksonville Wedding

So the weekend that just passed, I went to Jacksonville for my younger cousin's wedding. When I say it was awesome! We stayed in an awesome hotel and all of my family was there. Now on the day of the wedding it rained and rained and rained and the wedding was suppose to be outside. Bummer right. Nope they moved into the reception area and it was even more beautiful. They also had one of those cakes like you see on the food network. I am so elated to have another addition to the family.

Hello May! Well May has started out pretty good! Saturday ( yes this was April 30th not may) my home girl walked across the stage as a PhD Dr. Scott. ( I hope that is the correct way of saying it, lol if not leave me a comment correcting it please) We had a great time at her graduation party and her family was so proud of her. I can not wait to see what's to come. Then of course Sunday was, what else Church! The message like always was on point. " The point of no return". So Sunday also happen to be my cousin's b-day so about 2:30 I went to check her out at a softball game. Who knew she was in a league. I want to play! Well it was super hot out there but very relaxing. What a way to start a new month. Sunday was a good day.

So Panera Had a Members appreciation tasting. It was sooooooo much fun. They had their new foods and to try and other goodies that were on the menu. It was cool because some of the items I would have never tried if I didn't go to this tasting. Panera Bread is really doing it up for their members.

So I on the same day as the celebration I attended my cousin's fiencee wedding shower. I love her so much and I know she will treat my cousin well. We had Fun as we always do.

Whoa! April just snuck up on me. I have been so busy I didn't even have time wait... take the time to post the stuff I was going to post last month. Oh well LIFE :-) Here we go. So we finally took my homie out on the town ( really we just went out to eat) to celebrate the fact that she is a doctor now. Yea! We wen t to a new restaurant called Avenue. I have to say I did enjoy it very much. I thought the food was delicious and the services was pretty good too! Congrats Netta!

So I know I have been slacking on my posting. I only had 3 post for the month of Feburary...yikes! I have had two people call me and come up to me to ask me when am I going to update my blog...hahahahah. I am glad somebody's reading it. Well Let's start from the sunday before last. So I was in church from like 8am until 2pm ( not the same service :)) I went to my services and sunday school and then headed over to my cousin's church for their youth day program. My cousin was he speaker...yea....I was so proud of him and would not have missed the opportunity to hear him speak for the first time. So after Church I headed to the FSU womens basketball game. It was the last home game of the season and my dad scored me some tickets... awesome game, they beat clemson. Yes I had a busy sunday.

First Friday 2011

Sorry I have been gone for a two weeks. I actually had stuff to blog about I just hadn't got to putting it up. I have nothing super special, just some things I have been doing . Well the first Friday of every month here in Tallahassee is First Friday. From previous post you know I love these Fridays when all the galleries stay open late and Railroad square is poppin' with galleries shows vintage shops and entertainment, oh yeah and a bunch are art lovers and artist. Ooooooo I love Art. Well this time I didn't get to go to railroad square but I went to some of the other galleries around town. It wasn't exciting as Railroad square, but cool no the less. This time my little homies didn't roll out with me in the cold to look at art, but my cousin did. I hope she had a good time. I told her welcome to my world and she just smiled

We went to Bonefish Grill afterwards, I think I look like a straight up girl from the 80's that night.

What a great night! I love First Fridays I can 't wait until February.
